First, I had called in advance because my flight was delayed by weather, and I wanted to make sure there would be some there when I arrived to check in. They assured me there would be someone present. Though I arrived at the time I told them, there was no one around and the lobby door was locked. I rang the doorbell waited. No response. I finally called and they said someone would be there “soon“,. The last thing I wanted after a long day of flight delays was standing on the street with my luggage at midnight. The room is a disaster. It looks like someone’s first attempt at a house flip. The cabinets aren’t even hung properly and the tiles in the bathroom still have writing and marks from the installation. The curtains don’t cover the window fully and are covered in some sort of white splatter. There’s a tiny deadbolt on the door and no safety chain. There’s not even a socket near enough to the bed that you could charge your phone with a standard length charging cord. The only nice thing I can say is that the guy who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful, albeit out of breath because he ran from another location. The bathroom is clean. All I wanted after that was to sleep in and relax but no, through the paper thin walls I could hear construction workers swearing, slamming things around early the next morning

I highly recommend this hotel! Customer service is so helpful, the location is so close to the beach, there is plenty of bars and restaurants walkable distance. We weren't scared at all to walk at night. We felt pretty safe. Hotel is also super cute.. hot tubs, pools. Rooms were clean as well.
