We enjoyed our very nice stay just for 1 night. Beautiful and very clean room, friendly staff and amazing rooftop breakfast area with Akropolis view. Very close to the center on foot. Thank you so much for the upgrade!

I was shocked at the size of the room when first seen it is so small we had 2 large cases and I had to leave 1 on the balcony as no room for 2. The mattress and pillows were as hard as a rock. No safety box had to ask twice for one. Second morning no hot water had to get them up twice as they said it was hot when it wasn't. Breakfast is ordinary and the roof top has no air con and no circulating air so is really stuffy and hot. No kettle for tea and coffee and plug socket hanging out the wall. Please don't be fooled by these pics and reviews as we were.

Location - Located just off-centre, with most of the popular sites within walking distance. Syngrou-Fix metro line is a 6-8 minute walk.We initially booked a different hotel in Omonia area, but seeing comments about the area, we changed to this hotel. Glad that we did. Hotel - A small hotel amongst a residential neighbourhood. As some of the other reviews suggests, the room was tiny. Comparatively have a quite large balcony, which is as big as the room. However, if you are not planning to spend a lot of time in the room, other than to come back in the night to sleep, the room is quite comfortable. The bathroom has a walking shower with hot water. The sink however though is tiny and shallow. You will always end up wetting the floor. The locker in the room didn’t work. They promised to get a technician to look at it. But that didn’t happen throughout our stay. We didn’t fuss on that either. Staff and Service - The staff were amazing. The people at the reception, staff at the restaurant, all were amazing and very helpful. They only serve breakfast and in the night the bar is open for drinks (no food served in the night) The menu for breakfast for all three days were the same. Not a lot of choices, but passable. A suggestion for the management would be to name the items at breakfast, so that people will not have to keep asking. They provided two water bottles on the first day. From there on you need to pay 50cents per bottle if you need. (I don’t know if it is the practice). There was one staff member who gave us couple of water bottles and didn’t charge, and there was another who did. Bottomline is, they don’t replenish the bottles in the room and you need to ask. You might/might not get charged for that. Overall a quite a good hotel, in a location where we felt safe. Note - Athens is built in a valley. So where ever you go, be prepared to climb. The walk to this hotel too has a bit of a climb.

This small hotel is a VFM. The location is excellent, everything is 15 mins on foot: Acropolis, Syntagma Square, the metro station is 5 mins. The neighborhood is quiet, there is a cafe, restaurants, supermarket, and the little park next to the hotel is a lovely place to relax. Staff is very friendly and helpful, always smiling, and willing to help you. I stayed in a room on the second floor with a big twin bed. I can say for sure that the mattress is one of the best I have ever slept in a hotel, directly competing mattresses from 4* hotels (it was a CocoMat mattress I think). Both the room and the hotel were exceptionally clean, towels were replaced every day. The breakfast was very typical, but the Acropolis view compensates for it! I would go again!!!
