This is not a 4 star hotel, at most a 2 star hotel. The location is the only redeeming quality of the hotel, as it's great walking distance to most of the Athens ruins. The finish and function of our hotel room was definitely lacking. The TVs cable service was fuzzy because of a bad cable/connection. The kitchenette faucet wasn't secured to the counter top in any way, it wobbled around any time you touched it. The paint lines on the walls looked like it was done by someone who has never held a paintbrush before. The lightbulbs were all naked and not diffused, so there was harsh glaring light from the main and bedside lights. One of the shower door handles was broken. The makeup mirror in the bathroom was unusable due to missing screws. There is no top sheet on the bed, which I know is more common in Europe. Looked like a good deal, was not a good deal.

Location was perfect, walked everywhere with a two year old and a 4 month old. Family suite has a hostel vibe, but plenty of room (bunk beds and then a separate bedroom). There was a bath tub which was a blast for my two year old. I would absolutely stay here again!

The room was very nice and the people there were very sweet. Breakfast was good, not great. The place is very difficult to find and there is no parking near it unless you get really lucky. If you take a taxi here, it is a very reasonably priced value
