We expected this trip to be amazing, but couldn’t have anticipated how much we would appreciate the kindness and service shown to us by Demetrius at the Agali house. He was warm, genuine, attentive, eager to help and accommodate, and made our trip extra special. The views from this hotel were riled by none and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Thank you so much, Agali house, for delivering the kind of service one hopes to get on vacation.

We loved our stay at Agali Houses! The location is perfect - it’s right outside of Fira which allowed us to have a short walk into town but also be away from the crowds of people while at the hotel. It is also a short drive from Oia! The staff was very helpful in arranging transportation for us! The pool area is gorgeous with a bar and many lounge chairs / couches and has an amazing sunset view. The hotel felt private compared to others where you could see people walking through and it was right on the caldera. Would stay here again for our next visit!

This place made our vacation extra memorable. Polite and knowledgeable staff, they helped us arrange the catamaran tour and recommended great restaurants. The rooms were very clean. Everything met our needs. Thank you for having us!

If it were feasible to award more than 5 stars, I would undoubtedly do so for this exceptional hotel. The level of hospitality we experienced at this establishment has been unparalleled. This marked our second visit, and with each passing year, they continue to enhance our sense of comfort and welcome. Witnessing the sunset from our balcony was truly enchanting. This hotel is strategically situated to explore Fira, Imerovigli, and Oia. The only potential drawback for individuals with mobility challenges might be the staircases leading to and from the hotel.

Location location location - fantastic views of the water, caldera & sunset. I would definitely highly recommend staying here. The entire resort was well thought of - rooms have ample space and almost all have fantastic views, bathrooms are well appointed, pool area is just lovely, breakfast is decent and food and drink menu by the bar is limited but reasonable and good. Service is good overall. Rooms - I wouldn’t recommend the suites because there is only one AC unit serving the living area and bedroom - not ideal. But other room configurations are fine. Bathrooms are good - for some reason, Greece hotel rooms don’t have a shower curtain or a door, so be prepared to have a slightly wet floor but it’s cleaned daily. Pool is large enough for the size of the resort. Water was not heated in July so relative to the outside hot air temps, it felt colder (strangely). There’s just one guy behind the bar serving drinks and taking food orders, but it was fine. Pool only opens at 11AM and closes by sunset - strangely. Be prepared for a descent and therefore an ascent of 100 steps just to get to the entrance of the resort. Then it’s a few steps down for the reception & breakfast terrace and area, few more for the pool and some rooms and even more steps if your room is further down. I calculated 153 steps for my room! If you’re not in good cardio health, please consider another property - not just this hotel but others are the same too - do your research. Overall - loved the property and would definitely return. ❤️👍🏼
