The room was nice and tidy. The location is great (10-15 min walk from the train station). You're very near a main street with restaurants, cafes and groceries. The breakfast is great and fresh, you can choose to have it on the terrace or your room at your preferred time. There's a vaporetto station a mere 5 min walk away. Really, for the price this is one of the best places to stay in Venice.

Tooo cold here😔 I was really sick here. I think because of the cold temperature here and the gluten food(I am used to rice food) gave me a big problem for the digestion. And the toilet is soo cold. The room was good but soooo cold even if I turned on the heater at the maximum level. Not recommend in the winter season. You might get a cough or sick like me🥲

We had a great short stay at Al Portico, the location is great as it's so close to the train station. Nicola was fantastic in taking the time to give us guidance on Venice and recommendations on things to so and where to go. The accommodation had all we needed for a few days and was clean and tidy and close to many good places to eat and drink.

WiFi didn't work properly. TV didn't work. Room did not look like the photo. Towels weren't changed. Bed was made but the bed head was greasy and they didn't even wipe it down. There's no views from the window. The bathroom was stained and horrible. No hand-wash provided. Room smelled of damp. Breakfast provided but all I could eat was the pancakes. I did WhatsApp them no one responded. The location was great, the man who greated us was great very informative.

Definitely my favorite place to stay in Venice so far. Great rooms, amazing staff, and wonderful breakfast served right to your room with fresh croissants, cheese, pancakes, prociutto and salamino. A nice welcome kit with a nespresso machine for you to use. Clean bathrooms, well-located and fair price. Thank you so much to all the people who make this possible.
