Price on the average for a 4-star hotel in Madrid city center. I liked it very much overall although the rooftop was closed because of works in progress and it was impacting the rest of the building as the heating was not working in the corridors. Beyond that it holds a very nice mix of modern, fresh style, with some high end touches all together in a renovated old style classical building. Good buffet breakfast. The reception staff was young and despite they were nice and willing to help, they were too inexperienced to solve a couple of small issues we had. I bit disappointing, but did not impact my good impression about the hotel overall.

Clean rooms, a little bit noisy because of the location but very comfortable. Great showers and service. Breakfast was great too and Elena from Aloft at the breakfast counter was the loveliest, and the highlight of my trip. She was welcoming, friendly, very personal with every guest and made such an effort to make all of us feel so very comfortable and warm.

Awesome, awesome, awesome property. The location is INSANE. Truly walking distance to everything and anything; so many good options, next to shopping, etc. The breakfast was free for us since I’m ambassador and it was really great. The staff is really really wonderful and attentive. The cleaning staff unfortunately didn’t get to our room one day and made up for it with some extra goodies. Very kind of them. The room was perfect: good showers, comfortable beds, all the outlets worked, perfect amenities. The hotel unfortunately is undergoing some renovations so the rooftop bar wasn’t open but that’s ok. (Just heads up if this on your to-do list)

10/10. Had such a pleasant experience from check in to check out. The staff were very friendly, helpful, accessible at all times and very willing to help. The staff at the grab and go were also so lovely. The lady at the counter in the first weekend of December was incredible welcoming and sweet. It was so nice to see her every morning and she was always so kind to our toddler. Everything is also very close and walkable from the hotel, we never took a car or bus or a train because there was so much to see and do. We feel like 2 nights were definitely not enough and will hopefully return next year or so and most likely come back to this hotel because of the amazing service. PS: We also did laundry with them and did a great job as well. Clothes felt new lol

The location and the staff are excellent. The room size was comfortable. Now the bad that I find hard to tolerate: The shower water temperature is very inconsistent. It alternates between warm, cold, and scalding hot. If you are prone to heart attacks you should probably not use their shower. I was fed up and didn't take a shower on my last two days because I didn't want to get sick from the cold water or get a third degree burn from the hot water. Somehow they think it's a good idea to do constructions as early as 7 am or even earlier. I wear ear plugs but the banging and the thumping shook the entire floor and woke me up. In a city where everyone goes to dinner late and starts their day late, you'd think they'd know better. I never had a good full night sleep. For these reasons, as much as I appreciate the staff and the location, I won't be coming back and I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
