We stayed here in the peak Christmas season. The rooms are warm and cozy, and we took the room with views of Matterhorn. Incredible views to wake up to! The premises were neatly maintained. It was overpriced for what was on offer (350 CHF / night), with basic amenities in the washroom. But it was also Christmas so maybe they're priced higher. The hotel is a 13 min walk from the Zermatt station. There's a small ascent but it's not too bad. They don't have a restaurant, but they do serve breakfast. Nice bed, but the pillows were a bit flat. I'd have preferred fluffier ones. Overall, worth it if you get the room with the Matterhorn view, and something that's neat, warm and cozy.

Quite a hike/ walk to reach the hotel. Have a few flights of stairs to get to their entrance, would be a hassle if u have large luggage. Room is small we can only open 1 luggage per time.

We had an excellent stay at Alpenblick, feels homey. The staff is incredibly kind and the rooms are impeccable. I was able to see a part of the Matterhorn from my balcony, and was a four minute walk from the ski lift and about a 10 minute walk from the train station.
