Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are very good size. The breakfast was great. Lots of variety and really appreciated that it was delivered to the room. It is a tiny bit unclear where the rooms are but the very kind gentleman at the desk met us downstairs upon arrival. He offered many helpful suggestions for restaurants, subway, shopping. Only glitch was no hot water for showers for two nights. Staff showed concern but it was not fixed. Other than that I would recommend staying here.

If you’re reading this, sweating over booking your trip with like 30 tabs open of different hotels on your web browser, and are wondering if this place is good value, I assure you this is a solid stay and it will meet your needs. As a heads up (and this isn’t a negative, just info for any potential jet lagged tourist) this is not a hotel in the sense you’d normally think of, with a downstairs lobby where you check in. It’s a suite on one floor of a six story, mixed used building. You can either call them or tap the buzzer for check in, and the (nice) staff will come down and help you out. I believe after 7pm the staff are off the clock so you must contact them about self check in ahead of time. Regarding the stay itself, it was perfectly fine and considering the price point it was a great deal. Props for having an AC that you can actually make as cold as you want. As other have mentioned, the staff are wonderful. I interacted with two separate concierge and they both were warm, cordial, and had competent answers to even my most obscure/dumb tourist questions. One of them gave me free metro tickets a previous guest had left behind. Some caveats (remember this place costs like only twice as much as an upper scale hostel stay). The elevator is as old as time and has room for like three people max, two with bags. So multiple trips might be required when you check in. The shower temp has a mind of its own, it will go from warm to hot and back (but never scalding or freezing). The location is great, it is on Via Nazionale which is a pretty major street. 5 minute walk from Republicca metro, and ~20 ish minutes from places like the Pantheon/Coliseum/Trevi That’s about it, a long winded review I know but I hate when people leave reviews like (great service! Bad elevator) cause it doesn’t provide any real info. Hope this helps and again don’t hesitate in booking it will be nice!

Fantastic place to stay! Near the train station and you can easily walk to many of the tourist attractions. However, our favorite thing about this place is the staff. Incredibly friendly and welcoming! I appreciated that they checked in with us before we arrived, while we were there, and after we left. The room was great and the shower was fantastic. We definitely plan on staying here again the next time we visit Rome!
