The hotel is at a very convenient location, at the city centre. Everything is close by, for example the Acropolis is approx 30 min walk, with everything else in between. The metro is approx 3 min walk for a connection to other parts of the city. The room is spacious, and clean. Good for two people. Fridge is available for storing cold stuff. There is a balcony but there isn't a good view anyways. However, I can't find the heating for the room, so it might get cold in winter night. The toilet is clean with shower facilities. They provide breakfast for €5 per person, continental breakfast buffet, decent spread of food. The surrounding area is filled with graffiti so it feels dangerous to walk outside at night though. But good food from breakfast to dinner outside.

This hotel is on the edge of the slum area, be prepared. Nothing to worry about though, people are nice, we did not feel insecure during our stay. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is nothing special, but sufficient. The staff are also nice and helpful, feel free to ask them if you have any issues, they will help you right on the spot.

I had read a lot of negative review on this hotel before going. It is located in a very run down, drug, prostitute ridden area on socratous street near omonia square. We have walked at night, a bit sketchy bit if you've been to major cities around the world, nothing to really worry about, just use your head. On the positive side, you are conveniently situated near everything to see in Athens within reasonable walking distance. The rooms are what you would expect of a best western in America nothing more but the hotel is clean, we have witnessed employees cleaning regularly. As for the smell in the rooms...... Yes it smell a bit bad, it is because the rooms are equipped with drain vent in the bathrooms thus the smell. The included breakfast is decent, repetitive but more than what you get in continental breakfast. All in all it's not great luxury but it does the job!

Great Staff and pretty good location map wise. However the streets are rough around here. On about every street corner there is an addict. The service was great and friendly staff overall. Furthermore I wouldn’t call this a 4 star hotel. Not even close. You will not have a shower you will get a shower head and a tap which leaks a lot. Also during the night the power decided to cut off… this meant air conditioning was out of the picture while +45 degree heat. Overall i do not recommend whatsoever
