Bought two separate condos on 10th street for a week long vacation with my family. Upon arrival the elevator was very sketchy and throughout the whole week it scared us, we took stairs many of times. The first condo was rather clean, the second immediately greeted with a musky smell and gritty feeling floors. We all went and bought slippers to walk in and not turn out socks and feet black. We mopped it after the second day. Among all the things wrong with the one condo no door lock on the entrance door. The bolt lock worked but the other one was not attached to the door at all, a broken bottom shelf in the fridge, all counters were sticky, stove top was dirty, very little furniture. 12 people could sleep in the condo but only a couch that fit five people. One tv in the whole place. Toilet seats were cut up and stained. When I looked at rhe reviews to see if these were just bad luck or a consistent problem and most reviews stated dirty condos and needed upgraded furniture. Which I would have looked at them in the first place and we would have gone somewhere else.

Stayed for cruisin' OC weekend. Balconies overlook coastal it was a great spot to sit out and watch the cars. I thought it seemed nicer than a lot of other OC rentals. Rooms seemed recently renovated, very spacious, and room for more people than you have parking spaces. We were able to park 2 other vehicles on the street right under the balcony, so it was fine. For a couple of families, it would be great, close to the beach/boardwalk. The staff was good. We had to check in at almost 1 a.m., and they took care of us.

We had a great time. The unit was very roomy, clean, quiet and close to the boardwalk. We were trying to book our vacation for next year but every search engine we tried said everything is sold out for June, July and August. I am a travel agent and love staying at places for the first time and get to leave a good review. I will be putting this property on the "A" list. Hopefully we can find a way to get a reservation for next year. I wish there was more than one TV but it's not a deal breaker.

The room I stayed in was very spacious which was both lovely and disappointing. There were enough beds for at least 10 people and yet the couch held 5 people. Only one car was allowed to be parked in the parking space and we had 2 cars because it's a big place with plenty of room and there were quite a few of us. Having to park one of our cars elsewhere was a hassle and irritating because there were plenty of open spaces at the actual condo. The office we had to check in at was in another Americana building a short walk away which wasnt a big deal only inconvenient. Many of our sheets and blankets smelled foul and walking even just across the room made our feet black from the filth. We were also told we would not get any other towels beside one per person which is fair except, well, it's the beach and its messy. There were very few dishes but they were all clean when we got here and the pool was very warm and a good size. All in all, it was a fair enough stay for anyone who mainly stayed outside of the building, especially with the close proximity to the boardwalk. Not the best but definitely not the worst. I'd recommend it for a small group... maybe.
