We stayed 1 night at AMI old quarters! It’s in a great, central location! We booked last minute and got a free room upgrade! We had a great view from the balcony, watching the locals and shops below! The staff were friendly, and very helpful when we asked about sight seeing / booking things. We go an early check in, which was awesome as we had huge bags! If your wanted a semi cheap, good location stay - highly recommend. Only downside, the city of Hanoi is awake and beeping their horns from 5:30am onwards!

The Hotel is on Old Quarter. Very close to all major attractions in the Old Quarter. The rooms are decent enough for a few night stays and the staff is really helpful. Check in was seamless and comfort of the bed was fair enough. They offer tour packages and bookings too. The Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre is 3 min walk away and so is the Hoan Kiem Lake. The Ngoc Son Temple is worth a visit. With all this in walkable distance it makes the hotel an ideal place to stay in a limited budget. If the weather is cold out then there might be an problem as there is no Heater in the room. Special Thanks to "HIEU" who was helpful always.

My stay was a nightmare! The room was freezing, disgustingly dirty, and the A/C was useless without a heat mode. The toilet? A stench so unbearable we couldn't use it! Even with the door closed, the room reeked. Their solution? A last-minute perfume spray that only masked the misery. Walls were wet and moldy, making it the worst stay ever! Avoid this place at all costs.
