I stayed here for 4 nights i got food poisoning in saigon so i was pretty sick and as i was alone i was very stressed but the staff was so kind and polite they helped me with the pharmacy with money exchange shops nearby and everytime i walked down they made sure to check if i was doing alright and if i need some help.Thank you so much I would definitely recommend people to stay here and thanks alot to the kind staff of both day and night for taking good care of me Love you all

The staff here was very friendly and nice. The room was just so bad. We paid extra for the room with a nice window and view and I wish we hadn't because that window is awful. The panes of the window don't fit the frame right and even the frame looks like it wasn't put in right so there's gaps and when you are laying in bed it sounds like the window is wide open and that you are right out there on the street. It is the single loudest place I think I've ever attempted and failed to sleep. The gaps also let in bugs and we had a room full of them after our first night. Mosquitos, mayflies, ants, they made themselves at home. There are also some lovely ladies across the street who sit in front of the already very loud nightclubs and beckon to men all night long. That's not the hotels fault but it does mean that the window issue is made that much worse. Sunway did provide us with some bug killer for the bugs that seemed to work. And to be fair we did not ask for a new room at any point. But I have to be honest, if I were looking for a room in HCMC I wouldn't want that one again at least until a much better window is put in. In retrospect I honestly don't think that this hotel is intended to be the kind you book to sleep at if you catch my meaning and I'm sure it's perfectly suitable for that but it certainly isn't any good for sleeping.

The Sunway Hotel, located in very lively area between Nguyễn Huệ "walking street" and Saigon Center shopping mall, has good rooms (as expected from description and photos), is astonishing quiet at night for the surrounding. there is a table, a fridge, a large wardrobe and a clean bathroom. It's worth the price. (November 2022)

Great location. Staff is friendly. Check in and out was straight forward and quick. Room gets cleaned whenever you request it to. Rooms are good sized as are the bathrooms. Water pressure is good and hot water on demand. AC works well. Only negatives are that there are adjacent bars on each side which play music until late. Also the mattress is a bit firmer than I care for.
