I booked a room here via one of the major hotel booking sites. The photos made it look new, modern, clean and inviting. However, upon checking in, it was clear the photos were marketing shots from many years ago. The view out the window did not even match the view in the listings photo! The place felt very old and dated. It had that old, mouldy smell and the surfaces, walls and furniture were in a bad state, dirty and worn out. Bathroom smelt really bad and the kitchen units were broken and needed repair. Obviously there may be some well kept units in this building but just beware when booking. The Astra Sky River is a much better option and priced similarly.

worst room i have ever had in my life: We arrived with hair in the bed, hair and dirt in the wash machine, sticky juice on the floor, food rests in the fridge and dust everywhere. Bathroom smelled worse than vomit (literally no exaggeration: some other tenants confirmed our estimations) . We asked for a proper clean up but the cleaning ladies didnt even use water to "clean" anything and just dusted off the hair from the bed (keep in mind that the bed sheets etc probably hadnt even been changed before after the previous tenants) !!Keep that in mind that this is the way they clean when being watched!! Customer service didnt show enough understanding and it felt like this is their norm. Only got refunded the nights we didnt stay there instead of all nights but at least we got the bare minimum back. It was the most shocking room I had ever booked in my life and this was the first 5 star place I ever visited haha. Usually i only visit hostels so my standards arent really high. Definitely the first place on my "100%-DONT-GO-LIST"

Good place to live, while staying Chiang Mai. Rooftop pool and gym offers relaxing time. Only complain is kitchen equipment, they are old and kinda broke, sometimes it would be nice to make some snacks or breakfest. At this price they should be usable.
