The rooms are fine. Bed is comfortable, plenty of room to keep your suitcase out of the way. I was on the 22nd floor and could still hear what was happening on the street below late into the night. Convenient to Shinjuku station, restaurants, shopping, etc.

Great location, cozy rooms, and good service. These rooms have everything you need to spend your holidays. Each morning, the staff replenishes your essentials and towels, which is great if you go to the onsen every evening. The onsen is open until late, so you can enjoy it even after spending the whole day exploring the city. There is only the indoor onsen, but pretty cool anyway. Breakfast is superb! Everything is freshly made, and there's plenty of choices. I suggest you go early in the morning because it gets crowded very fast. Check-in and check-out were very easy, and it's super handy to have the possibility to leave your luggage there until you check in. Highly recommended

Beware unsafe and worst service. Be careful when booking this hotel as they do not accept children even though they allow booking children via online apps. We were refused to check-in and had to find available hotels which are mostly booked already and costs twice as much. The staff were not helpful and just wanted us to leave instead of offering other hotels or any help at all given that we were with toddlers. Also, the location in front is very bad as homeless people and dangerous people are loitering around drinking, lying on the floor with their trash all around, Smelled so bad with piss. Not great at all. A must-avoided hotel and location. We had to walk kilometers to find a decent hotel. There are more decent locations with better view than this.

Whilst the rooms are tiny, they are well equipped. Unfortunately, our stay was very noisy as our room opened onto a square where people were passing through at all hours of the night. This hotel is centrally located and only a short walk from Shinjuku station, which was excellent after catching the Narita Express. We would only recommend this hotel for a very short stay.

We recently stayed at the Shinjuku APA Hotel, and regretfully, we must advise others to seek alternative accommodations. This was without a doubt the worst hotel we’ve stayed in throughout our entire trip in Japan. The room was extremely small, leading to a cramped and uncomfortable experience. Additionally, the absence of a warm toilet seat was a surprising and unwelcome discomfort. A significant drawback was the noise level. The hotel’s central location did little to mitigate the loud street noise, especially over the weekends. The area outside the hotel was very messy and extremely dirty. Most disturbingly, one of the morning we witnessed a man openly urinating outside the hotel, a shocking sight that spoke volumes about the lack of order in the vicinity. In summary, our stay at the Shinjuku APA Hotel was far from satisfactory. For anyone looking for a comfortable and serene experience in Tokyo, we strongly recommend considering other lodging options.
