I book the self contained apartment for a family of three, using the ACCOR application. I'm confused how this apartment block is part of the ACCOR range because it is very worn in structure and furniture. There was no servicing of the apartment during our 5 night stay, and to get more of the kitchenette stuff you have to pay. If you want to change your towels, that is an extra €5 per person, per item. We were left with 2 dishwashing tablets for our stay, so to get another it was €0.50c, those are unnecessary and costly extras. We were situated facing a gym, so for most of the day you listen to the yelling of gym instructors on microphones. The location is near a metro line though which makes it accessible to visit all the sites. Buy your tickets at the tobacco shop and not using the machines in the station. The metro trains do not start operating until 6:30am so if you have an early flight, you need to book a taxi from the front desk. The reception staff though were amazing - very respectful and very helpful.

Spacious, clean rooms and affordable price. Big balcony. Bathroom and elevators were a bit cramped. Didn't try their breakfast (too expensive) or the pool (closed for the winter). Free street parking behind the hotel. Supermarkets (Pam and Carrefour express) just a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel. Great for exploring Vatican and Rome by foot!

After 30+ nights spent across various Accor hotels in 2023, 2024 couldn’t have gotten off to a worse start with our stay in Adagio. We were told we had been upgraded to a ‘Superior Room’ which makes me wonder how awful a basic room should be. The walls are paper thin so if your neighbour so much as coughs you hear it. Rooms are fitted with dishwasher and coffee machines and they’re extremely loud which kept us awake at night when our neighbour used theirs late at night. The staff were friendly but unhelpful. For our 4 night stay we were told we were not entitled to any cleaning and only received fresh towels once. Location isn’t great but this is advertised so I wasn’t surprised by this. Adagio, at least this Adagio, does not live up to the Accor brand and you could not pay me to stay here again. I was also told I couldn’t receive an invoice on check out other than a till receipt. I’m yet to receive an invoice to confirm the exact breakdown of the costs.

Stayed for a week over Christmas in a large and comfortable renovated apartment, well equipped kitchen, convenient bathroom, with extremely spacious and clean balcony with table and chairs. Tiny gym, but with some equipment for determined users, and possibility to borrow mat for stretching etc. Hotel is located literally next to a train station that can take you to a metro station, or alternatively there is a bus stop 100m from the hotel taking you to the Vatican or even central Rome. In fact the Vatican is a 30-40min stroll from the hotel (down hill) so perfect after breakfast (which we prepared our own in the well equipped kitchen). There is an underground parking but this is payable, you can park for free on the street. Hotel does not have a restaurant or bar (only breakfast, which we did not use) but there is a very nice and decently priced restaurant literally adjacent to the hotel, serving delicious authentic pizza, past etc, at local prices, so much better than a usual hotel restaurant.

Room was clean with good a/c. Well situated very close to a train station. However, you must take the train to the metro system if you want to visit a stop that is located near a metro station. The train and metro system are two different systems. Grocery store a 10 minute walk away. Room has a fridge, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. They provide all necessary items (soap, sponges etc.) to utilize the kitchen. Shower had good pressure. Hotel lobby was warm but you’re not spending too much time in the lobby. There is luggage storage but we were advised that this room is accessible by other guests so we chose to take our valuable’s with us and store the larger suitcases. Check-in/check-out was fast and easy. They do not offer early check-in but we were accommodated since our room was ready by 2pm (an hour earlier than the official check-in time of 3pm.) Front desk personnel were friendly and efficient. Room was closer to a 3.5 star that the advertised 4 stars. Comfy beds and overall an excellent stay!
