Overall great hotel, it’s not super bougie which is why I gave it 3 stars. The hotel is dated but has all you need. Comfortable bed, clean room, great location. The rooftop restaurant is nice beautiful view of the Vatican but can be pricey. Check in and out was easy, our room was ready when we arrived shortly after 1pm. The walls are thin so you can hear the hallways or the roof if you’re on the top floor. I would stay here again but wouldn’t pay more then $200 a night.

The only thing this place has going for it, is the walking distance to the Vatican. Still carpeted, smelly. Rooms are very tiny, with terrible mattresses. In order to lock my door from the inside, I had to use the outdated key. What's worse is that I needed the key to leave the room. What if there had been an emergeny? I didn't have a luggage rack and was told none were available and so I had to haul my suitcase onto the desk. One fellow traveler was given a room with no tub, and no shower, only a hole in the tiles where the equipment should be. Their wifi is terrible. I was with a tour group and had booked an extra night in this place. When I returned, my tour company refunded me for that one night! That tells you just how bad this hotel is. Stay away!

After an exhausting day sightseeing in Rome we found the Atlante. Took the lift to the terrace. Had drinks and small plates. The view from the terrace was amazing. This was a little oasis in the middle of a bustling city.
