The breakfast was great. I loved the cheeses and the mushrooms as well as fresh fruit they laid out. It was worth the money. I booked a room for 4 and was given the room at the top floor. There were no windows to get a view of the city but the room was spacious.

The accommodation, the rooms were fine. The price is understandable, as it is only a few minutes from the centre of Zagreb. Yes, you have to go up stairs, yes, the tram is noisy, yes, it is hot, but all this information and facts can be read before booking. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is buffet, plentiful and delicious. Parking is available under the gas station next door. Please note that after parking you have to convert your parking ticket into a day ticket at the reception, otherwise it is charged by the hour, which is very expensive

Very good room for the price! The breakfeast was really good and yummy. Although our safe in our room was broken and dindn't work. But overall it was a very good hotel!

Hotel is above SPAR supermarket and the entrance not well signposted. Be prepared to carry your luggage up to first floor or even second floor. We were allocated Room 7. The room key didn't work an hour later. We were given a manual key, and went out, whilst an electrician was called. When we returned we were told it was fixed, only to find the lights and power were out. An electrician returned, (while we had a free drink in bar) fixed it, only for the lights to go again just before midnight. We complained to receptionist who couldn't do anything. Next morning, reception arranged for electrician to come again with replacement part. It failed again and by lunchtime we changed to Room 4, on someone vacating. When we left after 4 night stay, we met a couple who were delayed going into Room 7 due to the ongoing electrical issues. AVOID ROOM 7!! The hotel is on a tram route with trams approaching from 3 directions which result in the entire building 'trembling'. The window system is good so there is no traffic noise, but the continual rumble of trams is there from 4.30am till gone midnight. However, the breakfast is a redeeming feature. The reception area gets 'transformed' with a good display of hot and cold dishes. The location is also good, a 10 minutes stroll across the road and through to the main square, and its many eateries in the side lanes. About a 15 min walk up from the main railway station. After changing room, we had a good stay.....apart from the tram rumble.
