Coming to Istanbul for the first time as a solo woman traveller, I felt very safe and well catered for at The Asparagus. Benon is a friendly and considerate host, he helped me with my bags, explained the hotel features and even walked with me to the local mini market so I could get supplies I needed. On another evening he walked with me to the local restaurant to ensure I got a good table and was promptly served. The close proximity to Sultanahmet and the Tramway made exploring the city easy. The room was cosy, clean and secure. The bathroom clean and perfect for my needs. Air conditioning was wonderful for the warmer days. The bed very comfortable. Great value for money. I would definitely stay again. Many thanks.

Amazing location with lots of restaurants close by and many of the main tourist attractions 10 minutes away. Room was verys clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly

Great hotel with great service. Low prices. Rooms are small but everything is well maintained and clean. Quiet and safe neighborhood.

We just finished three nights in one of Asparagus' apartments and couldn't be happier with our experience. Benan was a great contact with excellent English, the door codes meant there was no key or card to look after and the apartment was spacious and very clean. The aircon in both the living room and bedroom worked extremely well, and it's down a small, quiet alley so great sleeps were had by the whole family. The fridge works very well too! Laundry service up the street, ice cream and produce stand there too and the Çemberlitas tram stop us just straight up the hill. Great restaurants around the corner down on the flat road (Turkish Cuisine the best among them) too. All for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!!
