Pleasant stay with no major complaints. The room was cold when we came. It took time to spot how to switch on the radiator. And strangely, it was switched off daily by the cleaners. The bathroom was well renewed. It had an underfloor heating, which was nice, when it worked. The switchboard of the heating was tricky. The feeling was that the bathroom heating did not work, if the room’s radiator was on. The ventilation in the bathroom was loud. It started to whoosh, when you turned on the bathroom light. And continued for quite a while. The breakfast is included if the room is reserved direct from the hotel. It was modest but adequate. The breakfast staff was all smiles. Cheers to them.

Great stay and fantastic location! This hotel is located in the center of every destination we had on our checklist as well as right next to Paddington station where we could easily take the underground to anywhere in London. The exterior and interior of the hotel are very cozy, clean and aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are clean and cozy, the bed is very very comfortable and it is spacious and has everything you need and would expect in a 3-star hotel. It also offered a great value for the price as it was the cheapest we found that met all our necessities! I loved that there is a safe, coffee machine, heating, nice window and bathroom. The service was magnificent, everyone is very nice and the receptionists are very helpful. The lady at the reception gave us multiple recommendations and treated every guest in a very nice way. The breakfast was also great and simple and we had our fill everyday and the young lady who waited our tables was extremely sweet and gave us recommendations as well. The only tiny recommendation I would leave for the owners is to include vacuuming the room floor in the daily housekeeping however the cleanliness was overall top notch. Definitely recommend and would come back.

Location is good, close to Paddington station and you can even walk to Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. The rooms were clean, slightly small. Beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. Toilet seat cover was broken and had to be held up. Front desk was not friendly upon arrival, got the feeling that he didn’t want to be working. I guess you get what you pay for. It’s a convenient location on a nice street lines with hotels.

We stayed one night here at the end of our trip for easy access to Paddington Station. Location is great for Heathrow Express access and walking to Hyde Park and restaurants. We stayed in a family room, it was quite small but girls loved the bunk beds. While clean, rooms could use a refresh and breakfast was just okay. Fine for one night but seemed expensive for what we got.

Stayed at the Athena hotel on 1.9.23, were we stayed in a family room which had 2 adult beds (double and single) and bunk beds for the kids. We were really impressed with the size of the room as there was lots of space for us all and a great sized bathroom. The room was very clean and tidy. The staff we met at the hotel were all fantastic, very helpful, kind and friendly to our young kids. The breakfast was worth paying for and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Location was excellent as near Paddington and the underground stations. Not to noisy which is a bonus when staying with young kids. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.
