We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff are outstanding and always willing to help. The rooms were comfortable for our three day stay. The double doors to the balcony ensures that traffic noise in this busy area is nullified. The breakfasts were good with a variety of options. The location of the hotel ensures very quick access to the centre of the city. The rooftop restaurant affords a perfect view of the Acropolis. I would certainly recommend this hotel for travellers.

I enjoyed my stay at The Athenian Callirhoe. It is right around the corner from the Acropolis and has an amazing restaurant on their top floor. I stayed there 4 nights and ate dinner at the restaurant 3 out of those 4 nights and the night I had dinner out I still ended up at the bar for dessert and a nightcap. When you dine you have a clear view of the Acropolis from almost every corner of the restaurant. The food was incredible. I was lucky enough to be staying there over Valentine's Day when they offered an indulgent and impeccable prefixe menu. I got full and couldn't fit in dessert. I do have to say I don't like that they wouldn't let me take the dessert with me to my room claiming because it's ice cream it would melt and ruin the integrity of the dish. I stated I didn't really care but they insisted. I could have asked that my bill be adjusted to reflect the fact that I wasn't getting my dessert, but I didn't press the issue. I also ordered breakfast as room service twice and both times the process was seamless, the food came quickly and was hot and fresh. I fell in love with their crispy cheese rolls with housemade tomato and honey chutney. My only regret is that I didn't ask about buying a jar of the chutney to bring home. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I'm in Athens.

Clean and cozy rooms. My go-to hotel in Athens! The service is absolutely amazing, the staff is always friendly, it’s close to all the attractions of Athens and offers a delightful breakfast. They also have a such a good rooftop bar&restaurant!
