Location - Next to Metro, close to the Airport, Many shopping Malls and departmental stores, and restaurants at a walkable distance within a 1.5 km range. Rooms - Nice clean and comfortable, bathroom water on the floor doesn't flow to drainage. Breakfast - Needs lots of improvement, it's not a 5-star standard. Staff - Helpful, Responsive, and Professional, I would appreciate and recommend Mr. Farmaan Ali from the Housekeeping Staff.

We stayed here in April, it's not a bad place at all. Close to the metro and the airport. We like the swimming pool and out little girl enjoyed it. The selection of food for breakfast was great so there was always something to eat. Nevertheless, I don't know how this hotel can be classed as a 5 star. I've stayed in hotels with less stars that by far exceeded this hotel in terms of facilities and staff friendliness. I'm not particularly fuss of small issues but there are serious issues that need addressing. The bathroom as you can see in the picture was not the best. There was badly applied silicone with some mould on it. It looked very tacky and uninviting. We decided to just have showers instead. However, the shower was leaky. And left a massive puddle on the floor each time it was used. The taps for the shower were also leaking. Overall, it's a nice place but not 5 star at all. Fingers crossed they will improve were they are lacking.

The hotel is very old and definitely doesn't deserve five stars. The rooms are fairly clean, but the furniture and bathroom fixtures are very old and partially damaged. We stayed in this hotel for three nights, and during that time, we never had proper hot water. The water from the tap was slightly warm, but not hot. However, the rooms were cleaned daily, and they provided us with water, tea, and coffee. The hotel is located in an area with many Indians, Pakistanis, and people of other nationalities. It's very close to the metro, and you can walk to the hotel. It's a suitable option for a 2-3 night stay, not more. The sound insulation between rooms is very poor; we could hear our neighbors well. However, each room has a very good ventilation and air conditioning system. You can set any temperature, and it's very comfortable.

Had a great stay here. Rooms were good, food was great. Staff are very courteous. Is very close to the airport and also has a few Indian restaurants nearby which was pretty useful as we had a toddler who was a very picky eater at the time. Also if you're looking for souvenirs, there are a LOT of stores nearby for that. Since the hotel is a little away from the city, booking a cab ahead of time is suggested. Wifi is free and fast.

I recently stayed in the Avani after a series of overpriced mediocrities in my home country of Greece, and let me tell you, the quality of this place in relation to it's price is at the top tier! Our room, which was one of their basic, was around 45 square meters, and came with a furnished kitchen and washer. The view overlooked the palm and from a distance you could make out the shape of the Atlantis. The service was impeccable, and Hay Mon was as helpful as she was sweet with my kids. Speaking of which, the place is really kids friendly, and there is a very nice gym on the 1st floor. The breakfast had Indian, Asian and Italian cuisines and the quality was excellent. I could not believe that I could get such a deal for it's price, and I would recommend anyone to use it as their base when visiting Dubai.
