We enjoyed the hotel’s location, cozy room, and attentive room service. The breakfast was decent, but it could have more variety. We appreciated the lovely gesture you made for my wife’s birthday. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

This hotel was probably cool and modern when first open. Today, at least our room (602) was completely worn out and poorly maintained. Check in was OK and I was happy that the hotel had been attentive with my request of placing us in a room away from the street hustle and higher up. Got a corner room and on the 6th floor (out of 7). However, the metro running could be heard (and felt) all the time, making impossible to rest at night for me as a light sleeper. In addition the first morning maintenance started to talk loud in the corridors (everything could be heard) and drill next door at 8.30am!!! Housekeeping also talking loud outside in the corridor the second morning. All this while having the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. What a disaster... The room is pretty anonymous with no charm and a very poorly intuitive light system. Our room was very worn out - see pics- and the door that separates the WC from the rest of the bathroom inside was missing. The main bathroom door had a huge gap on the side. Conclusion: no noise privacy. Good location but not enough positives in this hotel to recommend. Not good value.

A really nice hotel in a great position. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The shower was particularly good. Nice to have tea and coffee making facilities as well. The rooftop pool and bar is a fantastic place to look out across the city and to chill out between the site seeing. Friendly and helpful staff. It will be our first choice of place to stay in Barcelona in the future.

We had a superior room which was very clean and quite spacious. Mini bar had a fridge so you could keep water cool. Only minor gripes were that there was only 1 TV channel that was in English (oddly France 24) and also that there were no drawers to put clothes in - only hangers and small shelves. We thought it very odd/funny at first that we could see each other take a shower from the bedroom - It took us a day or so to work out that the blind that separated the bedroom and bathroom was operated by a switch by the shaver socket! :-) The bar terrace was great although it did shut very early in the evening. Breakfast buffet was good although I think it could be a bit more extensive. The staff were all lovely and helpful. Hotel location was great for our needs and very close to the metro (which was great - we got the 8 trips for €10 family ticket as recommended by reception).

There was a strong chemical smell in our room. It smelled like either paint or acetone. They moved us to another room at the same level (6). The next day, the entire hallway smelled like it, and our new room too. We asked for Do Not Disturb so they shouldn’t have entered. I don’t know how the smell got into this room. It smells REALLY STRONG and we’re tired of moving rooms so we had to open the window in the cold winter.
