The location was in easy walking distance to most things. We only stayed one night but we’re happy with the facilities. We had one of our best sleeps here. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. However there was a lot of natural light in the morning which made it hard to sleep in. Just be mindful there’s no lift access. We had to climb a lot of stairs with our luggage in 35 degree heat which was difficult.

The only thing a B&B should do is provide you with a good breakfast and a good night's sleep: this place did neither. Firstly, breakfast is not included in every booking, and even if it is, all you get is a voucher for a dodgy looking cafe below the B&B. Secondly, we did not get a good night's sleep either of the four nights we spent here. The walls are thin, so you can hear random loud noises throughout the night. Most importantly however, the double bed we booked was actually two single mattresses pushed together, which inevitably slid apart during the night, forming a gap in the middle which one of us was always falling into. I was deliberating how I should rate this place, because the staff were all very nice and friendly, the location (although a bit dodgy) is very central with some good cafes around. My reasoning for giving one star is that the minimum a hotel or a B&B or what have you has to offer is a good night's sleep, but alas we got none of that.

Getting there was tricky, the neighborhood is shady and very dirty. There was no one to let us in although I had confirmed the time of arrival and we had to wait more than 15 minutes on the street. There’s no lift, and 60 steps to reach up. The room was small and dirty, hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, tufts of dust and dirt in the closet and under the bed, and found ants on the beds and bathroom. The view was of a dirty old courtyard between houses and dead plants on the balcony. The shower leaks, the door barely opens and there were no toiletries. There was no fridge as promised and the excuse was that ours was the only room left and it didn’t have one, though I booked 3 months in advance and arrived during check in hours. If at any point you need anything there was no one at reception at any point during my 3 day stay, so figure it out yourself, we were pointed to a cupboard at the end of the hallway to get a hairdryer from, if we needed one, and toilet paper. And the breakfast cards they offered got an espresso and croissant from the coffee place on the street corner, definitely had better!

authentic accommodation, sufficient for a couple for a few nights, unsuitable for a longer stay; a short distance from the train station, supermarkets, cafes, bakeries nearby; the immediate surroundings, however, unsightly in accordance with the neighborhood where the accommodation is located; small kitchenette with average equipment, tiny bathroom, shower for slim fit people, very noisy environment at night, tasty coffee available in the common area, great benefit of late check-out when leaving, very helpful staff, tasty breakfast in the form of coffee and a croissant in the adjacent cafe

Pros: Good location - which means pretty close to the inner city (approx. 20 mins by walk), but the neighbourhood was not the best, especially during the night. Fridge and well equipped kitchen, but we didn't use any of it. Cons: I texted the owner that we would arrive later (10 eur fee for late arrival, but had no choice because of our flight). He said we only have to write /call him so there will be someone giving us the keys in 2 minutes. I texted the owner at the beginning of our 10 min taxi drive, and called him when we got out the cab, but still had to wait 15-20 minutes on the streets for someone to arrive and let us in - not the warm welcome you would expect. The breakfast was below our expectations, you get some coupons that you can exchange for a croissant & coffee in a café located at the entrance of the apartment. They also have "luggage storage" which meant we had to leave our suitcase in the lobby, totally unprotected. Not the best solution if you have one week of clothes and other personal stuff with you, but better than nothing & at least it was free. In general, not a bad shout for a short stay in Naples, and decent value for money, but their service could get better.
