The hotel is a historic colonial-style structure. It had a very nice atmosphere. The rooms had been renovated and all the furnishings were new and recent in design. There is a large bathtub, so I was able to fill it with hot water and rest my body. The breakfast buffet was very satisfying with many varieties. The ground floor was full of Christmas mood at the time of the year. I have stayed in many hotels in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, but this hotel seemed very slow in terms of internet connection. I don't know if it was just the room I stayed in, but I was disappointed in this respect, as I was using the hotel for business. I would hesitate to stay at the hotel if I thought the internet connection would be slow again next time. The room facilities, breakfast, and location are troubling because of the good price.

The only positive aspect of the Bong Sen Hotel was its location; however, numerous issues overshadowed this advantage. The language barrier made it challenging to communicate needs effectively. Despite trying to overlook this hurdle, the room presented multiple problems—a persistent unpleasant odor, stray hairs underneath the bed, and a recurring smell whenever the AC was turned off, necessitating constant deodorizing. Booking a superior room without a window led to an assigned corner room that was noisy due to the AC outlets of all rooms being located outside that window. Additionally, the adjacent service lift added to the disturbance. Despite notifying the staff in advance about an early check-out, there were delays in completing the process. Overall, the experience at the Bong Sen Hotel was marred by cleanliness issues, noise disturbances, and communication difficulties, detracting significantly from the stay.

We stayed for 3 nights. The room is small dark , sink tap dripping but unable to fix despite requested many times . Breakfast buffet disappointed. Location is great . Unfriendly staffs We will not stay again .
