Can't complain. Excellent location for the price. Hotels like this are ideal. My room is clean, bedding clean, etc. If the owners updated it they would have to increase the price. I'd rather it stayed like this for the decent price..everything you need is close by and a bus directly into central London is just outside, price £1.75

Rooms are smelly. Pillows, bed and bed covers seem to be new but not actually clean and are not freshly washed. Washrooms are not convinient and very small in space. Customer servive needs to be improved and needs to be more friendly. I wouldnt really reccommend for a stay here. Can afford much better room for the same price somewhere else.

Overall terrible experience. For what I paid for a night stay, my family had to just shiver in the weather, with the radiators not working through the night. On checking with the reception in the morning I was told that the heating will kick in based on time of the day. Most idiotic thing to do, rather than setting the heating based on room temperature. The pillow was too firm. The bathroom was left with stench of a recent paint job. Terrible upkeep. I do agree the hotel is a very old building but defintely not well maintained for the price they charge. Woluld defintely avoid in the future.

Room felt dirty, bed was uncomfortable, shower had to be turned off by staff because it would ONLY turn on. The bathroom wasn't even in the room. Half the lights in the room didn't work. The first staff person was rude, the second was alright. I've been to many hotels around the world and this might be top 2 worst I've ever stayed in. We couldn't help but laugh at how bad it seemed.
