Really nice hotel near Suleymaniye mosque. the staff was friendly and the room assigned to us, despite being small, was clean and welcoming. From the breakfast room you have a beautiful view of the mosque and all of Istanbul! the only negative thing for me was the breakfast, the quality could be improved

Last week stayed in the hotel for few hours to get refreshed between two flights and found the rooms, service, behaviour very good. And it's centrally located and in walking distance to suleymaniye Mosque, in fact at stones throw and the famous whole sale market of eminonu.they even kept our baggage after the check out time till our time for departure to catch the onward flight

Walkable to the most famous places, tram and bus stop. Room is clean and cozy. The staff is nice; especially we had a flight in the early morning and they helped us arrange taxi. The breakfast is also good quality with beautiful views. I would recommend this place

More of a pension or Bed and Breakfast then a traditional hotel, the Burckin Suleymaniye turned out to be a delightful find in the old part of Istanbul. Our room was large and very comfortable with a view of the Suleymaniye Mosque, which was located only steps away from us. Also convenient to the hotel was the Metro station that could take us almost anywhere in Istanbul. We were walking distance from the Grand Bazaar and lots of other shopping, services and restaurants. The trade-off for not having some typical hotel amenities such as room service was a warm and welcoming staff that always made us feel at home. The breakfast the staff prepared for us each morning offered choices ranging from eggs to fresh fruits to a variety of cheeses and cereals. There was tea and coffee (including espresso drinks from an automated machine) most of the day. An on-duty manager was available 24 hours a day and stood ready to identify the multitude of available tours and activities and navigate the complexities of explaining the hotel's location to the pick-up services. Our time in Istanbul was entirely too limited to see everything, but we'll always cherish our stay at the nearly hidden Burckin Suleymaniye. We look forward to a return visit.
