Suburban townhouse outside the city accessible by public transport, staff reachable by phone but no regular reception on premises but we were easily able to get in touch with hosts. Certain things really need an update but for 2 nights it just felt like visiting a friend in their personal home. Clean and bright bathroom with shower gel, shampoo and hand wash provided as well as towels and a coffee/tea station. Could be way better for the price but aware of the state of things in Dublin re: housing, so good enough!

Very Victorian time period. Free coffee and tea in room. Nice enough with heaters as the hotel is older but retired. Only thing, it’s a self check in hotel and k hadn’t gotten an access code. Get it before you arrive via the app booked or a text message. If not call ahead to get this info. Also steep stairs up to front doors and no elevator to get between floors

It’s ok, the room was clean. There is no reception, you’re emailed a PIN number to get in the front door and another to open your room door. You can park on the street after 6pm but after 8am it’s paid parking with a maximum of two hours.

Very weak 4 Stars, rather 3 Stars. Pros: Nice location near the center but still a bit off the grid, quaint old townhouse with lovely architecture and petite rooms perfect for 1-2 people. Nice complimentary coffee machine. Air-Conditioning AND warming. Easy and fast automatic check-in with codes. Nice leisure room to chill and mix with others if included to do so. Contras: THE BED IS A SLAP IN THE FACE and literally caused one of us injury by just swiftly lying down. A thin mattress on top of a stiff and squeaky, hard wooden box is all there is. Absolutely impossible to have a good sleep. „Air-BnB 101 for Idiots“: The most important investment in your Air BnB business should be the BED. Cleanliness could be better. Bed linens should be thrown away, if they have blood stains, even though they were freshly cleaned. One of the curtains was hanging on 2 hooks, just fell off on the first night with no pressure, just by trying to close the curtains for darkness (really - just a soft pull). Carpet flooring is shabby, dirty and disgusting, rip it out and install wooden floors, for heavens sake.
