Dont forget check-in is at Hotel Agli artisti (different hotel next to train station) We had only one night stay ,but had canal facing room which you can see all gondoliers passing by. Amazing view, very friendly staff Antonia and Andrea both ladies are fantastic at what they do. Hotel has no service or reception desk but all service is managed by above two friendly staff memebers who are just phone call away. We left luggage the day before and after which was very handy. No breakfast available but this was made clear in advance but you have 2 nice cafes 1 min walk.

I just checked out after staying three days. I got an email the day before I was supposed to check in saying that check-in would be at a different hotel. For someone whose knees are not in the best shape, it was such an inconvenience having to walk to a different hotel and then find my way back to where I was staying. No staff on hand at all to assist with any needs or questions. My room had vines growing into the exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the shower is missing a door, which caused it to get water all over every time I would shower. The lobby is dark and dank, and you have to let yourself in and out. I don’t feel it’s safe for single female’s to be coming in at night with no lobby lights on. The hotel is in a good location, but the inconvenience makes it not worth it. Definitely not worth €100 per night which is what I paid. The ONLY good thing I can say about this stay is that the sweet lady who cleans did a great job keeping my room straight everyday, and it is in a good location IF you don’t have to walk to different places just to get to stay. If the hotel can’t do any better, they should consider closing…

the object is really nice. first of all, very clean and well-maintained, warm inside (two radiators, one in the bathroom and one in the main room), good location,right next to the canal entrance. inside very fast wifi (130Mb/s in my case) just remember that the password given on the table is outdated and we will get a new one on a piece of paper that you will give us from the reception :D as for the reception, it is true that check-in takes place in a different hotel than the one where we sleep, but thanks to them it is 5 minutes away and knowing it in advance you can simply go to the actual place of check-in :) I will definitely visit this place again!
