My wife and I have come for years when she has a Christmas party down town. Instead of cab back to our place, we make a weekend out of it and stay here. We have MClub access which we love, we will sit in the lounge all day and just relax but the other thing we used to do was use the pool. It broke during COVID and on our return trips for a while they were telling us it was still under repair, still under repair, and this year someone finally told us they will not be repairing pool, and have another project happening there. We don't have a hot tub at home and one of the things we really liked was coming and soaking for a weekend. Now we may have to find somewhere else.

Mostly good, M Lounge open 24h, had good snacks and decent breakfast - always great croissants. Only real issue was w power outlets in my suite - or lack there of. Just think they need to update a few pieces of furniture to ensure living area is as functional as sleeping area. Overall good stay (been several years since last stay), good valet parking, but $$, nice location too. Lots of nearby establishments to eat at. Easy 10-15 min walk to S’ Dome if you’re in town for an event.

Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel exceeded my expectations! The central location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and clean, with a great view of the skyline. I enjoyed the delicious on-site dining options. A fantastic stay overall!

Stayed here numerous times over the past few years, and recently in late October 2023 as an Ambassador Elite. This hotel just does everything well. Almost always upgraded, this last trip I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite (see photos). While the rooms may not be high-level luxury you would get at a Ritz or St Regis, they are large, clean, and functional. Valet parking allows you to pre-schedule times, which is convenient. The lounge is one of the better lounges you will visit. It’s open 24/7, has great food at breakfast and afternoon snacks as well as drinks for a fee. There’s a nice outdoor area as well, if weather permits. The best part about this hotel is the location. There are so many restaurants within a short walking distance. The front desk staff are always very nice and the restaurant within the hotel (one 18 empire) is a good option as well. As a business traveller, this is my go-to Bonvoy property in Calgary, and I think I’ve stayed at every option here!
