Claustrophobic hallways and cramped rooms. Not particularly cheap and the rooms doesn’t give you a ‘clean’ impression. ONLY French tv-channels, which is a bummer if you don’t understand the language. The staff (except one) were not super kind or service minded either. Not a complete failure but not a ‘worth your money’ place. Three stars might be in the generous end of the scale. Their breakfast is pretty good Though and it’s pretty centrally located.

The staff was amazing at every level and went above and beyond to all the Rugby World Cup tourists. The rooms were compact, but clean. The breakfast is worth the money.

Could be so much better. Great location. Rooms are very basic. No hot water for 2 days then no air con. Staff were great apart from one member of staff whole tried to steal some money from our group whilst in the bar area. Reported to the manager but heard nothing back from him despite asking to be updated following his investigations. Bar area covered by cctv so there would have been no way of disputing our allegation. We were a mixed group of six and had a great time in beautiful Lyon, the hotel was perfect for us with a great bar area but unfortunately just spoilt by the one member of staff.

The hotel is nice and cosy. Have a drink in the bar in the entrance. The breakfast is great - beautiful bread (not the dry and boring baggette) and the eggs are creammy creammy creammy. The pain ao chocolat is also a must. The localization is great and just in front of the hotel there is a velo point - rent a bike and see the city. Its a great way to move aroubd. At night be mindful that you are near the metro station and you mind find some weird people walking around the streets.
