An amazing hotel with amazing staff at an amazing location. We were upgraded into a spectacular room. Everything was explained upon check in and they were able to hold our bags while the room was getting ready, and emailed us while we were out to let us know is was all good to be checked into. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in DC.

Modern cozy rooms with friendly staff. The size of the room is just enough but do not expect anything out of the ordinary. The house keeping’s service deteriorated by every day in the 4 nights I stayed here. The location makes it a great pick over the places

Kudos go to the team for making our anniversary more special! My husband is a Hilton Honors member, and they gave a room upgrade to the partial Warf view on the highest floor. When we got to the room, there were wine and two pairs of glasses with a card. We received a late check-out as well. Since it was Christmas Eve, we didn't expect all of those to be given to us, though it was our anniversary. We've stayed at other Hilton brands and traveled worldwide, but this has been added as one of our favorites. The location, the view, and the friendly and attentive team made this place stand out. The room was spotless, quiet, neat, and modernly decorated. To the manager: The young lady at the front desk on the afternoon of 12/25 (around 1 pm) was grumpy and rude. The way she took our suitcase was not nice, and when I collected it, she didn't even respond to me when I said," Thank you."She didn't say hi and bye, unlike all the other staff. She almost ruined the excellent impression of this hotel.That's why I can't give 5 stars. However, everything was perfect except for her, so we want to return.

We are visiting Washington DC, and regularly use the canopy hotel in london, it’s one of our favourites, so we thought we would give the Canopy in DC a try. Wow. The room we were given was massive, with a separate living room area, massive bed and bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful with anything we needed and the hotel was spotless. Metro stations are a short walk away, and we could order Ubers directly to the entrance to the hotel with ease. Highly recommend this hotel for both business and vacation purposes! Only tiny bit of feedback I could give, is I think the hotel would benefit from a buffet breakfast? This is perhaps more of a European thing, but the option to pick and choose breakfast items is always nice!

My only complaint is that my room did not come with a full complement of hand and face towels. These were added on day 2 and 3. I certainly could have asked for them, so not really a big deal. Concierge and valet staff are helpful, friendly and professional. My room was cleaned daily and left immaculate. I enjoyed borrowing a bicycle to tour around. That is a nice amenity for sure.
