Really disappointing stay here but let's first start with the positives... The view from the room and bar was stunning and the drinks in the bar were a decent price. However...... 1) air con is on a permanent timer so you need to turn it back on in the middle of the night a few times. Just a bit cheap for a not so cheap hotel. 2) breakfast was crap. I guess it's the normal standard for Vietnam but compared to the other cheaper hotels we stayed at it was the worst. 3) while some staff were very nice some were quite unfriendly, couldn't communicate or were understaffed. 4) for my parents room the water took 10 minutes or longer to get hot. They tried to claim this was normal but for our room it took 5 seconds so clearly not... 5) The room is not very well designed. Has sockets in some very odd places and when the two single beds are combined to a double bed this is made even worse as some of the light switches are next to your head so they get turned on in the night. I'm not sure if these problems were down to it being low season or if this is the hotel but it does make you question these very positive reviews.

Amazing hotel, we got a big room with lovely see view. The room is beautiful and fully equipped. And the location is perfect, in the central and from the hotel to the beach just 5 minutes walk. Another thing i would to say is Duong, who is very helpful, he help me to book all of thing i want to do in the island like Boat Tour, Trekking and transportation... everything is most perfect. I really enjoy when stay in the hotel. Thank you so much!

1. Aircon just turned off on its own and we couldn't try to determine why because settings adjustments weren't allowed (except temp and fan). It seemed like auto shut off about 3 hours. 2. Ref took forever to cool. And they had the gall to give the excuse that it takes about 2 hours. It took forever and didn't cool as a ref is expected to. 3. Shower gel and shampoo dispenser pumps so stiff/not working. Original gel dispenser couldn't dispense. Replacement wasn't much better. 4. Shower gel was too viscous. Instead of flowing, it was a blob that drops to the floor. 5. Closet door handles have sharp parts that can cut/injure. 6. Faulty bidet control - releasing it doesn't stop water flow immediately 7. After initial reporting, nothing was done when we came back. And no coordination as to what would be done and when. 8. Reception staff were sullen, unsmiling, almost hostile. Very impolite. Unfortunately, didn't get their names. 9. Unprofessional staff- saw twice one of them sleeping on lobby couch! 10. Restaurant staff (1 guy) in slippers. Completely not worth the price.
