Absolutely no words for my experience - before I begin I will point out the owner offered me a bottle of wine on the first day as I booked this room for my birthday and it was dirty and smelling very bad upon arrival (her standoffish demeanor implied i was being fussy. But I paid almost 300€ for a place that is NOT A HOTEL) I repeat. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL!!! the room is old. Nothing like the photos. Stained. Smells of cigerettes. The ‘breakfast included’ is simply a bar around the corner I will let the photos speak for themselves. And hope by bringing this to their attention (I am a top honest reviewer on Google who only ever writes positive posts) will force them to compensate me for ruining my birthday;

We absolutely loved this hotel, place was perfect, breakfast was lovely, staff were friendly and the room was clean, modern and beautifully furnished! We will definitely stay here every time we come to Rome in the future! Thank you for a fantastic place! The bed, shower and mini fridge were the best bits! Oh and the unlimited tea, coffee, fresh water and biscuits was brilliant when we just wanted a snack! Favourite holiday ever and the room was one of the best bits! So comfortable and welcoming to come back to!

Upon our arrival, we found ourselves unable to access the building because the staff member responsible for greeting guests was absent. Furthermore, an additional fee had been imposed for a late check-in. Fortunately, our taxi driver remained with us, allowing us entry and preventing us from being stranded in the dark. Although we had reserved a Double room based on attractive photos, our dismay was palpable when we discovered that we were provided with nothing more than a mattress on the floor accompanied by worn-out sofa cushions. The receptionist's explanation was that we had selected their Budget Room, a claim we vehemently disagreed with, as we had specifically reserved a double bed and were not informed of the absence of one. The receptionist's demeanor was notably impolite and confrontational as she attributed the misunderstanding to us and offered explanations about bed types. Regrettably, no resolution was reached, and our booking platform of choice did not extend any apologies for the situation.

We had a wonderful stay. The breakfast in the café next door was very good. The coffee tasted great. The voucher was sufficient. In addition, we had a very clean room, which was cleaned every day. The staff was friendly and gave us good insider tips for exploring Rome. From the accommodation you could quickly go to the Popolo or the Vatican. There was also great shopping three blocks away. You could reach all the attractions in a maximum of 20 minutes on foot or directly with the metro (line A / station: Ottaviano). A note at the end: The signposting is pretty bad, so don't be surprised, there is only one bell. Once you have found it, you have a great place to stay in the enchanting city of Rome.
