Pretty good experience here. Staff was super friendly and nice! Cool layout with all the beach wood. Only problem was that the rooms smelled, and it would come in and out. Like it was in the walls or something. Couldn't figure it out. We changed rooms and it was the same.

The location is great and it is really close to Taipei 101. You can catch that good spot to capture the best whole 101 view but the service is not that good and quick. They don't allow early check in as the rooms are not yet ready even though on the regular check in hours. We've waited for an hour before we can get in as they are still cleaning the room.

Great staff, very affordable, 100m from the MRT (one stop from 101) and the free coffee machine/biscuits is a nice touch. If you go expecting a very basic experience - you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you expect the 'regular hotel experience', you'll be disappointed. Set your expectations accordingly :-)

This is more of a hostel and I believe it’s noted as such on their site ( I didn’t realize this prior). The original room we booked didn’t have anywhere to hang out clothes, and the room was small to the point we didn't have floor space once our luggage was opened. The front desk helped us upgrade to a larger room which then provided a small closet and more space. However for the upgraded total price, I’d prefer to stay at a hotel with more standard amenities, daily housekeeping, more comfortable beds, less mold, and overall more space. The hotel was in a great location and close to a MRT stop. The front staff was very nice and accommodating. There was a slight language barrier so it is helpful to know a bit of Mandarin. The police did also do room checks which I believe is to ensure people aren’t renting out rooms as short term rentals but I’m not sure.
