We stayed five nights and it was great. Breakfast changes each day and was ample. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. They can arrange all tuk tuk tours at the right price so no need to haggle in the street. Location is perfect an easy walk to everything and just around the corner from Giant Ibis office for pickup on trip to Phnom Penh.

Kakdas boutique hotel was just perfect! ♥️ It made our visit to Siem Reap feel like being home in a magical buddhist fairy tale. The room was spacious, beautiful, with a personal touch, the breakfast plentiful and delicious, and the hospitality like being back home with mom.

The check in process was smooth, and I was able to check in at 1 p.m. even though the actual check in time is at 2 p.m. The staff is very friendly too. The stay was in general what I expected from this hotel. However, I think that some minor improvements can be done to the service and cleanness of the hotel. First, the bedsheets and the towels are clean as well as the floors. But the shower needs to be cleaned thoroughly. There’s lime stains all over the shower walls, which gives the feeling of a dirty shower. Second, when it comes to the breakfast, you’re supposed to have eight breakfast options, but during my stay I had two one morning, and non the second. So if you’re expecting a great breakfast, this is not the place for you. One other minor complaint I have is that the rooms are pretty dark. There are windows, but they barely let in any light. Other than what’s mentioned above, I think you’re getting what you pay for. Location is good too.
