The service here was terrible. We arrived at 10pm with our kids and had to catch a very early flight out the next morning. We just wanted to shower and go to sleep. We had two rooms and needed bedding for both sofa beds. The rooms didn't have towels in them when we arrived. Long story short, it took over 2 hours and 7 trips to the front desk to get towels and half the bedding needed. It wasn't a miscommunication, the front desk attendant just simply didn't care to help at all. On my seventh trip down to the desk, a new person who had just come on shift got the towels and handed them to me from the closet behind the desk... So frustrating.

Worst Marriott branded hotel I’ve ever had the burden to experience. After being told to call the shuttle when I landed I was left stranded. No towels in the room. Not allowed to pick up towels. Waited 45 minutes for 2 drinks and a plate of chips and guacamole with 3 people in the restaurant. Was told I have to pay for the complimentary continental breakfast even after showing them their own website. No waters available. Air conditioner locked to a minimum of 22C. Marriott should be better than this.

Rooms- Is very, very small for the price. No towels available because "are being washed". Cleanness is quite poor. Only one power outlet in the entire room, USB ports (2) were not working. No bags for dirty clothes. Service - A week before our stay my wife called ahead to schedule a shuttle to the airport, she was told it was reserved. Well, it was NOT RESERVED, the offer from the night manager (Jorge) was to provide the shuttle 1.5 hours (4:30am!!!) before the time we needed to be at the airport... take it or leave it. Location - Conveniently close to Cancun airport, this is the only positive point offered by this business as a product and as a service. Restaurant - Chairs covered with fabric are simply filthy. I asked for a glass with ice, it had about an inch of milk residue (not mine), the table was dirty. I ordered fried tacos, the lettuce was rotten and a hair was right there, the guacamole was mostly black. After we finalized the dinner we were told that, because of the issue with the shuttle, the Hotel was not charging the the hamburger my kid ordered.

Shuttle " city express" sign not visible on the side of the shuttle. The sign is visible at the back of the shuttle. There is no assigned spot where you can wait to take it. Rooms - the floors were not mopped clean. I used wet paper towels to clean the wood laminate floors myself. No coffee maker in room,no fridge. Pool towels hare available at front desk and also to be returned there or replace them. I would have gladly left them in my room or in a wash basket by the pool.

Location is perfect if you have an intermediate layover, lest say 8-12 hours overnight layover. The shuffle is supposed to be free, but if you land at night, front desk do not answer the call, so, no one is picking you up from the airport. The way back to the airport you must have to schedule with them during the check in. I have to pay 80 USD for an airport taxi, Uber is prohibited in Cancun Airport. Room is excellent, clean and conforming. Free breakfast in my case.
