Our family had a great time here! Perfect for our kids ages (3 and 5), lots of other families so we felt like we were in good company. The property was beautifully maintained and safe, and the staff works extremely hard and very kind. We loved the beach and the heated pool with swim up bar. The food was good (about as expected), some meals were exceptional. Most places on the property are closer than they seem, so the golf cart shuttle ended up being unnecessary but nice to have as a back up. Overall, fun vacation for families!

We stayed at Sunrise for the Out of the Blue music festival and we were super impressed with the resort. The service staff were fantastic - we never had to lift a finger. Drinks were brought to us at the pool and even in the middle of the crowd during the concert. Room service was delivered in about 10 minutes. Shuttles to different areas of the resort ran every few minutes. All of the food was way better than we expected and so many options. Cold brew tasted like Starbucks. When our flight home was delayed by 4 hours, our luggage was stored, we got to hang out by the pool, eat lunch, and shower in the gym locker rooms (great facility btw). We will be back with friends!

We’ve stayed at many resorts in different parts of Mexico for years and this place was overall just…. Ok. Not what I expected at all. Overall it’s kind of dated, not super well maintained , trash and dirty cups/towels everywhere all over resort. Rooms are also dated and small but the beds and comfy and pillows are good! Some staff is very kind and helpful, other staff members not so much… food is decent. Drinks same. Lots to do if you have kids which is great but overall just so-so. Probably won’t ever come back.

Stayed here before the pandemic and had the best time. This time couldn't be any more different. Incorrect room , confusion at check in. Room so far away from everything and on top floor with 2 babies without an elevator so had to carry pram up and down 2 stories everyday 8 or so times. Rude customer service when asking for stuff. However the staff who deliver food, waiters, cleaners and other maintenance people are beautiful attentive people. Queues for absolutely everything, 2 hour wait for dinner, so difficult to book restaurants. Incorrect charges for no show ( when we did show up for dinner). Food preparation problems as we all had upset stomachs for the first week. I'm now on my second week and not optimistic it will be any different. I complained on a survey and a man called Hugo called extending an olive branch offering to help. I mentioned we like napa valley wines and he said it would be the least he could do to smooth things over. He then sent some wine I wouldn't cook with. I'm so disappointed as we have dreamt about returning here for 4 years since are last stay... its so overcrowded its really not nice anymore.

We have been here now 4 times, with friends in groups or as a couple and we absolutely love this place. The service, the amenities, the food, the drink selection, the property itself, everything is absolutely amazing. The service and the staff are what keep us coming back. They keep our rooms extra clean (2 times a day), the grounds are very well maintained, and the restaurants have excellent options. If you are debating any other resort- please go here!!! The property is huge, you are able to use other Palace facilities, you will never run out of things to do! Go and see Reuben, the absolute best bartender and person
