Watch out Marriott, Taipei Inn Group is coming for you! I stayed in an Elite room (1 above standard) and absolutely loved it. Excellent layout and the coolest colors come through the frosted windows via the lights on the building across the street (no worries, the windows are in the bathroom which is partitioned and a curtain can be pulled). The room is thoroughly cleaned and the staff is super friendly and helpful. There's a free to use self-service laundry room, late ramen, coffee, tea, etc. everything you might need. Priced the same as lower quality hotels in other parts of town. Book here and take the metro (across the street) to where you need to go. So nice to have a shower where the water stays in the shower and a bathroom window that can be cracked for ventilation! I was in a corner room and it was quiet (no soundproofing issues), I didn't see or hear any rowdy customers. Traffic is also light and can't be heard

I recently had the pleasure of revisiting this wonderful hotel for the second time, and I must say it continues to impress. Not only is the price remarkably reasonable, but the hospitality of the staff remains exceptional. The inclusion of convenient amenities such as universal sockets, complimentary late-night instant noodles, and free laundry facilities adds to the overall appeal. Furthermore, the diverse selection of TV channels provided a pleasant surprise. I am already contemplating a third visit to this delightful establishment!

We booked a four-day stay at this hotel for my trip to Taipei, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The hotel's proximity to the MRT and bus stations made travelling around Taipei a breeze. Its location near Taipei Main Station further added to its convenience. What truly set this hotel apart was its outstanding service. Abbey, a receptionist, was particularly remarkable. She assisted us during our late-night check-in, providing not only a map of the surrounding Ximen area but also recommendations for great breakfast spots nearby. Her caring nature shone through as she inquired about our comfort and even arranged our transportation to the airport. The taxi service was reasonably priced and a worthy alternative, even though Taipei Main Station was close by. The room cleanliness was generally good. We had an initial concern about the bedsheet and comforter's cleanliness on our first night, but the staff promptly addressed it the next day, ensuring everything was impeccably clean. The daily cleaning service maintained our room in excellent condition throughout our stay. The only drawback was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. We could hear conversations from neighbouring rooms, which was a slight inconvenience.

Great booking experience, and very friendly staff throughout my whole visit. It’s worth signing up online to their VIP program (free) as you can get some additional perks, and a chance at getting your entire stay for free (!) by playing a spin-the-wheel game during check in (I obtained a small discount) I was also surprised that their airport transfer was very affordable (TWD 1,100 for 2) which was cheaper than the Uber X I took to get there. This isn’t the norm, and I would recommend taking up the hotel’s offer if you’re not planning on taking the train / bus from the airport to here. My whole stay was very pleasant and I felt well taken care of. Location is great and not noisy as it’s away from the main Ximending road, but just a short away. Would definitely consider staying here again if I want to stay in the same area again.
