I stayed recently in the Clifton Hotel for the third time in 6 months which, in itself, says a great deal about the hotel and its service and staff. Its location is ideal, easy to walk to the city centre, its pricing for such a comfortable hotel with such charm, is competitive, its staff very and friendly and a full breakfast to set you up for the day! In my experience anyway, after 3 visits, it’s a home from home and if you like all the above, then I highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next visit!

My husband and I booked for one night on the new year's day (due to a repair emergency at home). As we just live in the area, the location was very convenient. Plus, the rate was very low since it's off peak. Katie, who was at the reception, was very helpful and welcoming. So was Noah when we checked out. The room, albeit small, maximised all available space. Good wifi connection. Water pressure was great. Our only negative comment was there were used towels still in the bathroom and a couple of lamp switches didn't work. Could be due to the holiday season? I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt. It was a good one-night stay though. Hope they would have a more thorough tidying up next time.

The location was ideal and the room was spacious for one person -- extremely good value for money for a short stay! Also, Sofya and Noah were very welcoming and helpful both at my arrival and my departure. I will definitely stay again at the Clifton Hotel if I need to come back!

As I have mobility issues, I rang the day before and spoke to Noah, he went out of his way to make sure we had a parking space reserved which put my mind at ease, thank you Noah. Also after a very noisy first night, we were moved to a much quieter King room with no extra charge and whilst there, Naomi very kindly bought up two large glasses of water and a takeaway for us as the restaurant below were fully booked due to Xmas bookings. Thanks again Naomi!
