The Hostel is very dirty, the sinks for brushing your teeth were completely dirty, the rooms were stinky. The worst of all is that when I made the reservation on the website it didn't mention that you need to give a deposit of 20 pounds, I made the payment on the card on which the hostel still steals 2 pounds from you saying which are for fees. Do your research before choosing this hostel, I don't recommend it. Response. I made constructive criticism, you as a company have to be professional and improve the environment for guests, it really was very dirty and the room smelled. As for saying that I didn't follow the rules in the room, it's very funny, because I arrived at 10:10 pm just to sleep and wake up and leave at 7. Saying things I didn't do is very unethical, keeping my £20 deposit is much more. My intention is not to denigrate the hostel, as I worked in a hostel for a long time and I understand perfectly. I hope the refund not returned to me will help you improve your guest services. I wish everyone the best.

I will give credit for its affordability. However I don’t like that I was charged to store my bag, considering it’s just a closet which they didn’t really do a good job supervising after unlocking. One guy at the desk was great (he was listening to some cool Bollywood soundtrack which I wish I got the name of). Room poorly insulated and building is a bit eerie.

Fantastic location, I even had a harbour view from my window. Fairly unappealing on the inside. No kitchen or communal rooms. Long maze of corridors. Cheap furnishings, beds too close together. No key for main door and key to room missing. Have to be let in be intercom every rime. (There is 24 hour reception/security). Coffee/tea facilities consist of a kettle in reception. £20 deposit required. Road traffic noise. Showers and toilets not too bad (again, cheap fixtures and fittings) bed actually quite comfy. If you were planning on spending the minimum of time here and just needed somewhere to sleep, adequate for the price.

Really great staff, couldn't rate them high enough!! Comfy beds and no bunks so no one climbing in and out above or beneath you which I thought was good. Sweet location right in the city centre and on the waterfront. Plus only £18 through the week for most rooms so cheap as chips. Basically, the location, beds, price per night, and staff, cant really be beaten. Only thing you need to know which I hope they change is there's no food allowed or kitchen in the hostel, however they do have a restaurant and are happy to cook and ready meals you buy and can sit and eat there too so not that bad. I'll stay again for sure.

Avoid if you have options. Front of house staff are rude disrespectful and are masters of deception. Stole my two nights booking fee and will not refund me. Rooms are terrible, toilets broke, shower out of use. How would i best describe the hostel....faulty towers would put this to shame. They also own the Indian restaurant underneath. It's a reason why it's empty every single night. Just like it's upstairs family. Not nice people at all!
