Clean, modern hostel in a central location in Edinburgh. The pods were spacious and comfortable. Only complaint is being able to hear occasional noises from the neighbour capsule. Staff were very kind. Offered free ear plugs at reception. The hostel was pricey, but I do think it was 100% worth the money if you want a comfortable, clean, and safe stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights on my solo trip, overall felt comfortable and safe! Pods: provided privacy and were structurally much better than traditional bunk beds as they don’t squeak or shift. There were also mood lights inside, a tiny shelf, a hook, and 2 USB charging outlets. For charging, expect at least 4 or 5 hours+ for a full charge. Cleanliness: A+ given how many people stay at the hostel. The sleeping rooms, showers, bathroom counter tops, and toilets were all very clean. There weren’t any smells/scents in the rooms/toilets, also did not see any hair on surfaces. Breakfast: a variety of options were available, including non-dairy and vegetarian ones. Kitchen and fridge are also available for guests. Storage: a safe is provided in the rooms next to pods, space is enough for a few days of clothes. Luggage storage after check out is also available. Location: centrally nestled, uphill from bus/tram stations. Can’t go wrong with this hostel!

Perfect for solo travellers! I went to Edinburgh for my first ever solo trip and chose this hostel to stay at, couldn’t have chosen better! Located in the centre of Edinburgh, it’s literally within walking distance from all the main attractions. The shared rooms with pods are comfortable, clean and warm. Everyone was super quiet and respectful towards everyone else in the room. The lights are also sensor triggered and quite dim so they don’t disturb anyone while you’re getting in the room. On top of that, the staff is super attentive and nice and the hostel organizes cool activities at night so everyone can get to know each other, again perfect for solo travellers!

New built/upscale hostel. Room is nice and clean and clearly designed just for sleeping and not much else - which is great - everyone in my room are super respectful, barely any chatter or noise in the room itself (I had no problem going to bed early or lying in!) The common area has very good vibe, and is clearly where all the social happens. Met quite a few people there, mostly young professionals rather than students (maybe this is reflective of the hostel price range?) Location is amazing. Sara(h) doing the free walling tour is great. I also enjoyed the coffee walking tour (with free coffee included) and you get to see the underground structure of the building. My only grief is the limited use of the kitchen in the morning, as they need the space to set their breakfast. As a young professional with a little more budget than I did in my student days and a lot less resilient to sleep deprivation, I think it's a good choice, and I would happily stay again. I was able to social, cook some meals on budget abd still got very good night sleeps.

Incredible hostel in every way. Was my first stay in a hostel, and I could not be more impressed. Amazing location, smack in the centre of the royal mile, with a great common room for working or grabbing a coffee and seamless 24/7 check in experience. The individual room codes and private pods means you get a safe and secure sleep without being in anyone's space. Great clean bathrooms with quality rain showers. They also offer board games, whiskey tastings, a complete breakfast for 6 pounds and the free walking tour was a great way to get to know the city's history. Shout out to Nicky for being a funny, insightful and knowledgeable tour guide!
