NOT A 5-STAR HOTEL. It is an old hotel with quite old furniture. I have been to many hotels in Qatar and by far this is the only one I regret staying considering their price. There are far better options nearby. Reasons why my experience was bad is because, 1: Pillows were very uncomfortable 2: Though I booked a twin bed room but amenities provided were only for one and limited. I have stayed in 3 star hotels and they provided many different amenities and toiletries. 3: Towels were overused 4: Basement parking was fully occupied by the in-house event attendees and all the hotel guests had to park outside. 5: The digital menu in the room was not working 6: Room lamps were not working 7: Very low lights in the room 8: Shower was not fully working 9: Wash basin was clogged Definitely not worth the premium price. The hotel is not paying attention to enhance the guest experience. They should understand that most people look for experience and not only for a place to sleep only. If you are conscious about the room you stay in and love the good vibes and looking for a great hotel experience, then definitely look for other options because I can guarantee you would regret staying here.

This is not a five star hotel. Nothing remarkable at all! I’d say it’s a 3 star with poor service and facilities. First day experience was not good. When I checked in was informed I could sign meals to the room only to eat later and asked to pay on spot. Not an issue with that but seeking clarification, one lady at checkin counter was very rude and not listening to why i was coming back to seek clarification. Getting into the room, the toilet was not clean, tissue holder and taps had stains. The mat on the floor is not anti slip and almost fell down while moving around in the room. I’d only stay here if I really really had no other option.

I wouldn’t compare this hotel to a real 5 star hotel. Furniture is not that good. It gives a 80s vibes (dimmed light, colorful overused furniture) the restaurant is smelling fish not ventilated well, and the food is below average (taste and presentation wise). Try it only if you have to through a transit flight and if it was given from the airline, otherwise don’t.

I was placed here by the airline due to a flight delay. There is no way this is a five star hotel. The lobby is nice and clean and the service at check in was fast. But the rooms and the rest of the hotel is tired. The room I had had mould in all corners of the shower cubicle (see video). I arrived in the early hours of the morning and I was only staying one night so I did not look to change rooms - I wasn’t confident the next would be better. There are few amenities in the bathroom other than soap and I was not offered anything extra (of course I could have if needed). The breakfast was adequate and the lunch had a nice variation. The laundry service was fast and efficient. I understand that the the pool is only open until the early evening.
