The reception desk is located across the street at the sister hotel. The staff is really great and welcoming, and available anytime for anything you might need. They even let us borrow some outlet adapters (we didn't have to find and purchase ourselves which was very nice). This is by far the largest hotel room I have ever stayed at in Europe, which was a nice change of pace (is practically a studio apartment). We also got a city travel card free with our stay that could be used for any public transportation. Highly recommend!

i stayed at this hotel for 2 nights the past wknd, and it was amazing: - very friendly staff - clean room - well located - very tasty breakfast i can only recommend it!

Great Hotel in the center of Basel with large and good equipped room. The Elevator is a bit hidden and the entrances are small, however the rooms are comfortable, stylish and large.

we just spent a night here. This is how I imagine the stay for a city trip. a stylish hotel with stylish rooms, everything is superbly furnished with great attention to detail. Perfectly located, the staff is world class and super friendly (I would give it 5* for that reason alone). The breakfast in a magical setting is also exquisite in terms of cuisine. Basel at its best. Thank you very much, we will be back.

The room was furnished with Vitra designer furniture, but in a very sparse and uncomfortable way. Due to the many bars on the street it was extremely loud until late at night. Opening the windows to ventilate the unair-conditioned room, which was heavily heated by the sun, was therefore not a good idea. Early in the morning all kinds of trucks make noise through the narrow, loudly echoing street. To make matters worse, from 7:30 a.m. on one of the numerous construction sites next door, the jackhammer started shaking the entire block. In terms of sleep, it's a real disaster. Otherwise nice main building (Hotel Krafft), which we only used for breakfast. The hotel's free bicycles are very convenient to rent.
