My stay at Core Amalfito was truly enjoyable, and I found Luigi, the owner, and the staff to be exceptionally friendly. Luigi, being a local, provided us with invaluable recommendations and insights about his beautiful town. Regarding concerns about noise and buses mentioned in previous reviews, I can attest that closing the windows effectively muted any potential disturbances. The convenient access to buses and the ferry from Core Amalfito made exploring the neighboring towns effortless. I highly recommend taking a day to visit Ravello; the breathtaking views and exquisite cuisine are not to be missed. Gracie Mille!!

Very disappointing as we booked the room for one night paid by credit card as we were in the way and train were delayed from Rome so we were late and reached around 8 pm but the hotel were asking extra money euro.30 for late check inn and I don't understand when we paid for one night why any hotel will ask extra money for late check in this was sounding annoying to us . many things as we were family of 4 person with 3 adults and 1 child of 12 years the room was booked by me as a double occupancy but we have to look other hotel for 2 person for one night and I kept my luggage in my own room but the lady on the reception was more interested to take our luggage out of the room which was none of her business I can bring 4 luggage and we went out to other hotel Fontana to check in which was right in front of church which was excellent and when we came back to take my luggage the hotel owner was knocking at the door to check if we 4 of us are staying in the room. this was ridiculous as how can 4 person will be adjusted in 1 room with small bed as if we will sleep in the bathroom. Hotel staff must have some common sense and respect toward it's guest. I am extremely disappointed and will never recommend. See your options . This hotel doesn’t deserve one star also because of their service.

The service was horrible It's highly not recommended The location was really inside I thought that it was in the main area and according to the price it was not worth it and the hotel didn’t provided the water too for the coffee and they charged us extra 30 euros for late arrival on their own as we came exactly at 8 pm and was paid everything and they said they will not charge my credit card and they. Charged euro 30 on their own as this is really very very ridiculous as it’s not safe to provide credit card to these type of hotel who is charging on their own.

Clean and good location. But you would better not to trust any information they provide. Especially, if you plan to bring your car here, You will be in trouble or even disaster like what happened to me. Here is my story happend 27th July 2022. I booked here through agoda and it said the parking is available. However, when I arrived, they assisted me to park in the public parking spot which was not free. Up to here, I could understand. (Though they showed a wromg information...) They gave me two parking places addresses and I parked one of them. The price is too expensivd so I checked with the host and he said I would pay for 35 euro for a night. Expensive but I accepted. HOWEVER the last day, I HAD TO PAY 181 EURO FOR PARKING FEE. I was super shocked and asked what happened to the host guy. And he was such an irresponsible saying he did not know the rule has been changed and never apologize what had happend. OMG. I have never seen such crazy hotel service in my intire life. Really? You just provided a wrong information and made me to pay 181 euro for parking and...done? How on the earth a mere tourist know the parking rule in a new area without beliving the hotel's indcution?!?!?!!! They did not ripe me off but they screwed me up in their fancy italian way. And the worst point is the host was never said sorry for this situation till the last moment. He made me my honeymoon in Amalfi a disaster. You may choose this hotel for many convience reasons but I would not recommend to visit if you want to stay in Amalfi with good vibe. I was the one did not trust those bad reviews in below but now I understand the reviewers - do not want to make other people get through such a bad experience.
