Food may not be mind-blowingly delicious, the overall experience left a positive impression. The restaurant's atmosphere is delightful, creating a warm and inviting setting that adds to the overall charm of the place. Although the culinary offerings were not exceptional, they were satisfactory. The surroundings and ambiance, however, stole the show. The hotel exudes a certain charm that makes it a perfect spot for relaxation and unwinding. If you're looking for a place with a pleasant atmosphere and decent food, this hotel is a solid choice. The surroundings and ambiance make up for any culinary shortcomings, creating a lovely and memorable stay.

I had the most wonderful experience at this hotel for evening gatherings and peaceful quality time with loved ones. The cozy and serene atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for our gatherings. The outdoor seating area was charming, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed a beautiful evening under the stars, sipping drinks, and sharing stories. The tranquility of the setting allowed for meaningful conversations and unforgettable moments. It’s a great place for those seeking both relaxation and cherished time with loved ones.

This new hotel impresses with its culinary offerings, particularly the delightful high tea and a sumptuous breakfast spread that caters to diverse tastes. While the rooms are simple and could use some enhancement, they are comfortable. Overall, the hotel provides a positive experience with its commendable food options.

I went to dinner with a friend who had come from abroad, and I was initially delighted with my experience at Sheraton Kosgoda. Assuming Courtyard, being part of the same group, would offer a similar experience, I insisted on dining there. Despite my friend's suggestion to try a different place, my stubbornness led us to Courtyard. Unfortunately, the staff at Courtyard seemed disorganized, paying little attention to outside customers (not sure how they treat in-house guests). The rooftop bar staff, in particular, was rude and even argued with each other in front of customers, with only one person maintaining a friendly demeanor. Moving on to dinner, while the seafood soup was enjoyable, the main courses left me thoroughly disappointed. The buffet lacked variety, offering only a limited selection, primarily featuring Indian cuisine. The only option for rice was prawns fried rice, accompanied by a few scattered curries. My meal consisted of prawns fried rice, fried chicken, and some peanuts. It appeared that the management wasn't putting much effort into introducing new experiences for customers, yet they charged Rs. 7,100 per person. To summarize my experience, the starters were good, but the main courses were subpar, and dessert choices were unsatisfactory. I regret insisting on dining at Courtyard, as my friend had to endure a less-than-pleasant experience due to my decision. Courtyard is definitely not recommended in my book.

My experience at the outdoor bar in Courtyard by Marriott Colombo, located at Colombo City Center, was truly delightful. The bar’s setting, with its outdoor seating and stylish decor, created a wonderful ambiance for an evening out. The drink menu was impressive, offering a wide selection of cocktails, wines, and spirits. The bartenders were skilled and friendly, and they were more than happy to craft custom cocktails to suit my preferences. What truly set this bar apart was the view. Overlooking the city, the outdoor bar provided a stunning backdrop for an evening of relaxation and enjoyment. Whether you’re looking to unwind after a long day or enjoy a night out with friends, the outdoor bar at Courtyard by Marriott Colombo is a fantastic choice with its great drinks, atmosphere, and top-notch service.
