I stayed at the Courtyard Houston Intercontinental Airport during the second week of January for a work trip. Despite the high nightly rate of $500+, I found the overall service to be below expectations compared to similarly priced hotels. While some employees provided pleasant and attentive service, there were notable issues. One inconvenience was the absence of basic amenities like hand soap in the bathroom vanity. Upon calling the operator, I was informed by a staff member (a particular 40 year old lady) that soap was not provided and that I should use the liquid dispenser inside the shower. This was an inconvenience as I had to enter the shower every time I wanted to wash my hands. Despite assurances, a promised bar soap was not delivered until I personally approached the front desk the next day. This time, another person well better trained gave me the soap bar in 2 seconds. Another concern was the inconsistency in room cleaning. I was told by a staff member (the same lady) that due to Covid, rooms were only cleaned upon request. However, in 2024, this policy seems outdated, and I believe daily cleaning should be automatic. Additionally, I observed a lack of professionalism from this same particular lady, whom I encountered multiple times. This employee was loud while walking from reception to the restaurant, and even used restaurant tables for her personal lunch while talking on the phone. This behavior is unusual for a Marriott property. On the positive side, the hotel's location was convenient for my visit, and the shuttle service to the airport every 30 minutes was a helpful amenity. However, the absence of a breakfast buffet and the limited options provided for pre-paid breakfast were disappointing. In summary, while there were aspects of the Courtyard Houston Intercontinental Airport that met expectations, the overall experience fell short of what one would anticipate for the price paid.

I booked a last minute room the night before my flight. The gentleman working the desk was very accommodating and super nice to myself and my party. He made sure we had everything we needed throughout our short stay, including a ride to the airport on the shuttle. The rooms were modern and clean. The bathroom was updated, clean, and very nice. I will be staying here next time I visit and highly recommend staying here.

I frequent this hotel when travelling for work to Houston. 2 min down the road from the airport. The rooms are large and always clean. I was here on two separate occasions the week of Oct 22nd and I had the pleasure of dealing with Madelyn. She accommodated my requests without hesitation and remembered me on my return. A very nice touch for a 3 star property, nonetheless. She was fantastic and I hope management acknowledges her for her customer service.

Dishonest business giving us a very unsafe feeling during the 2 night stay. Booking a room for 2 including breakfast and they said we would get 1 breakfast, ridiculous and rude. 2 mornings of our stay they caused trouble about the breakfast for 1 and after a lot of disputes we didn’t have to pay. It’s not about money it’s about principle. They said we booked the room for 2 with 1 breakfast, that’s a lie because there is not even an option of booking a room for 2 with 1 breakfast included, they treated us like we are idiots and they called my husband rude while they were very rude to us. It’s not understandable why they did try their best to save 1 breakfast, for such a business it’s just a penny, but because of that their name is already damaged and we will never book any property with the name Marriott on it, it was such a scam. People at this hotel should understand the saying “penny wise pound foolish”

Be careful my friend got robbed during daylight , when people were inside the office. The car was parked infront and they stole his convertible. $1000 in damages and the hotel won’t cover it , be careful they’ll rob you , the cameras don’t show a thing but blur for the way they charge improve your cameras. Don’t leave your car here it’ll be robbed. Day or night.
