We booked a table for Xmas day lunch, and could not have been more impressed. Good selection of beers, and wines as part of the drinks package. Food was amazing!!!! Everything you could expect and beyond, delicious selection of fresh seafood, roast meats, veg, salads, desserts, fresh fruits, tea and coffee etc at every turn! Friendly, efficient, highly professional staff, served us always with a welcoming smile, throughout the 3 hour dining experience. We will definitely visit again!! We had a good room the first stay, recommended by a friend from Denver/US, and the return after scuba boat was even better! Loved our room 2415! Liam was helpful at the front desk. Service and food at Rocco were great, but the Calypso club was an epic fail. No service for 1/2 hour (were ignored), then waitress spilled food on my purse, hardly an apology, and the food and drinks were average, at best. Loved the room, though!

We initially reviewed this hotel as lower but have revised our review to account for positive action the hotel took on the back of our feedback. The hotel is modern and well situated. The experience manager and staff knowledge of local tourist activities is good. The location of the hotel is also great. We had some issues with the quality of the housekeeping and room allocation. However upon raising this, one of the hotel managers was extremely accommodating in trying to turn our experience around. My tips for future guests: - if booking a room with a sea view, ask the hotel to ensure it is level 2 or higher so your view is not blocked by trees. - if you encounter issues with housekeeping or other elements of your stay, raise them with management straightaway as they take it seriously and do what they can to resolve any issues.
