I'm amazed by the numerous positive reviews of this place. However, during my stay in the family suite, I struggled to find anything to appreciate. The rooms were cramped, damp, and stifling, with an unfortunate discovery of cockroaches on the nightstand. Moreover, the bathroom emitted an unpleasant odor. Despite the promise of complimentary breakfast, choices were meager and often exhausted. On a particular day when food had vanished, we had to go out to purchase croissants for our kids. Ironically, upon our return, the front desk informed us that external food wasn't allowed (this was after they had already run out of their own food). We were even compelled to sign a waiver stating that the hotel wouldn't be accountable for any illnesses resulting from eating outside food. A truly absurd situation! Furthermore, we possessed credit from an overpayment during booking. Requesting a refund, we were met with the response that their finance team doesn't process refunds so we got robbed! Whoever is in charge of this establishment should thoroughly reevaluate their operations, or they may not remain viable for long.

The hotel is very nice, clean and in a good location with friendly/professional staff. I can confidently say every employee at Daamat is great and always willing to help. From the management team like Hewati all the way to the housekeeping staff are very friendly and respectful. The only thing I can suggest that is shower room after you took shower the water didn’t go away it get overflow on the ground my other suggestion is every day party going on cross the street it’s so loud and you can’t a sleep I wish they have sound proof windows other than everything was so perfect. Thank you for the amazing experience. I will always recommend this hotel to everyone I know!

It is one of the best hotels it has an elevator working electrical power generator that starts working immediately when power goes off. Also, they have a fast Wi-Fi, and good hospitality rooms are super clean and nice. It has a bar at the reception free morning meal

I have stayed at the Daamat now 3 times in my last 2 visits to Ethiopia and it has been nothing short of fantastic. One of those stays was for my wedding ! Everyone here treated us as family and it was one the best hotel experiences I've had in all of my travels to 22 countries. The manager Seifu is always very welcoming and accommodating!! The staff is extremely kind and warm and will take the best of care of you and your loved ones ! I THE rooms are clean and well maintained!! I definitely suggest staying here
