Our 21-day stay at Yod Abyssinia International Hotel was really enjoyable and amazing. We liked their service, especially the variety of dishes they served for breakfast and the inclusion of a gym. We also found most of the staff we encountered to be humble and loyal. It's the best hotel we've been to so far!

I stayed in this hotel. I have to keep changing rooms cos few rooms have bad order from the toilet . At least I have to changed 4 rooms and there is no much difference do I have to leave. At it's current condition the hotel is over rated and I have to say it's under standard for it's level. However, having say that, the staffs are very polite and well mannered except the general manger who is a very difficult and unhelpful sometimes he can be very irritable.

I stayed in this hotel for over 15 days based on a recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately this place seems to be in disarray under new nepotistc management installed by the new owner. The managers seem to have no experience in hotel management and talk too much about their credential rather than helping the hotel to its old international standard by handling their customers. One thing is for sure. They seem to be penny wise dollar foolish. Here are some memorable facts about this hotel: 1 -- The free continental breakfast has only 4 identical menu items (fasting) showing every morning for 17 days of my stay. At times they tell you to order from your room when they do not have enough customers to feed. 2 -- The juice that is served is half water. You just let it stay for 5 minutes and you can see the added water portion vs the juice itself. 3 -- You cannot order your breakfast to your room. That is an extra cost for the free breakfast. Strange, isn't it? 4 -- If you order anything from your room or from the dining hall, you have to pay in cash right away as if you are a stranger from the street. You can add the the tab to your room. 5 -- For my one day stay on the fifth floor, i have noticed slow moving cockroach in the bathroom. That is just unacceptable. 6 -- The front office and managers do not seem to communicate at all. There seems to be misunderstanding always, especially when the gents work at the front office. As an exception some of the front office ladies seem to know their duties and responsibilities on how to handle customers. I commend those once highly. Overall as it stands today, i do not suggest staying in the hotel if you happen to be there on vacation. 4 --
