There was construction for most of the day when we wanted to relax in the hotel. After exploring the city for our last night in Vietnam we came back to our hotel room to hear music shaking our room. Apparently there was a wedding booked and the terrible karaoke went on until after we wanted to go to bed. Don’t stay here if you want a good night sleep.

Rooms are decent for their price. Water is provided, although the channels are few. The bathroom is spacious, and electric outlets are not a problem. The location is the best. Every place in Ho Chi Minh feels like a stone’s throw away from the hotel. This is perfect for tourists on a budget.

My Grab driver definitely miss this when he was driving by. Part of it was because of his Google maps and because this is definitely a hole in the wall hotel. Once you see the LED sign in the front, it will be easy for you to find your way back to this hotel. To me, I think the location was perfect. The surroundings was lively. I had pleasant walk from the hotel to the Turtle Lake and back. The hotel and facilities itself was clean and sanitary. The locker in the room was spacious. I had such a delightful sleep because the bed was quite comfortable. I think Dai Nam Sai Gon Hotel is primitive and I truly mean it in a compliment way. Like I said before this hotel is a hole in the wall. I believe this hotel has potential once more people are aware of it.
